You can pick up free copies of the commonly used federal tax forms at both the Campbell County Public Library and the Wright Branch Library during tax season (January to April). We also have reproducible forms available throughout the year.

Library staff CANNOT help you fill out your forms, or tell you which forms to use.

Intuit Tax Freedom Project - The Tax Freedom Project offers free online tax preparation and electronic filing to hard-working Americans and their families who meet annual eligibility requirements announced at the beginning of each tax season.

Tax Forms:

1040.com - Federal and state forms and publications, links to various state tax authorities and the IRS bulletin board system as well as current tax news and information are available at this site. Adobe Acrobat software is needed to view and print forms and publications.

FedWorld - FedWorld's tax form search page, providing forms in multiple formats.

Forms And Publications - IRS - Get forms & publications direct from the IRS via download, fax, or postal mail. Also featuring an expanded fill-in forms service.

Digital Daily - Well-done and informative site from the new, friendlier IRS.

Tax Center - A consumer-oriented source for federal, state and local tax related developments. They provide answers to general tax questions, plus links to current federal and state-sponsored tax sites to allow more comprehensive tax research.

Payroll-Taxes.com - Help for your payroll tax questions.

TurboTax.com - With information about new tax laws and changes, personal tax guide, business tax guide, tax calculators and more.

State and Local Taxes - Links to state and local tax resources, arranged by state.

Tax Information for Students - From the IRS.

Tax Help Online - which claims to be "The Complete Guide to Understanding Your Taxpayer Rights."

Taxes & Audits - Good general information on Taxes and Audits from the Nolo.com Legal Encyclopedia.

U.S. Tax Center - featuring links to a large variety of tax resources online, by the Center for Debt Management.
