Library Services

Outreach Services

Outreach Services offers large print books, regular print books, books-on-cd, DVDs, and research upon request delivered to your door. We do homebound visitations bi-monthly and visit residents at our local nursing care center biweekly. Interviews are conducted upon qualification for the program services noting the patron's likes and dislikes for reading or listening materials. Careful selection is made for the recipient and delivered on a monthly schedule. Materials to be returned to the library are also picked up at this time. Reference research is done upon request at no charge to the patron. A personal visit is part of our delivery service.

For more information contact Pat Brose by e-mail or by calling 687-9228.

Homebound Visitations

People within Campbell County who are homebound due to illness, disability or the aging process may call the library and request services. An initial consultation is conducted by library personnel to determine qualifications for the service. At the same time, we will ask you about your likes and dislikes in reading or listening materials. Upon qualification, every two weeks you will receive a visit from the library Outreach Assistant or receive items by mail. Your reading materials may be delivered to your door and we will pick up items to be returned at the same time. We always have time for a friendly chat about your latest "read", requests for our next visit, or to lend a caring ear for concerns of the day.

For more information contact Pat Brose by e-mail or by calling 687-9228.
